STRENGTHENING YOUR FAITH THROUGH THE EYES OF WITNESSES

Shalom to all believers in Christ,

Throughout our lives, we learned that each of us faces difficulty in the material world. Each comes in different forms. Some may have touched others' hearts and be 'little Christ' without realising it.

Some may be fortunate enough to be able to evangelise by sharing the gospel, and some may only be able to show kindness and compassion. Nevertheless, both actions are guided by the Holy Spirit.

"Ask, Seek, and Knock (Matthew 7:7-8)" as mentioned in the gospel, plays an important part of our lives. Each time we pray wholeheartedly and seek guidance from the Lord, a problem or temptation will always persist. Our test and difficulty coexist to show that our God is a living God.

The evil spirits, Satan, Gog and Magog, will always try to elude us from seeking the truth. Any easy way out or straight answer may be the work of a false spirit, as our living God works in a mysterious way.

After the life of the apostles, we have seen the rise of false prophets, false teaching, and the rise of New Age religions that have ridiculed, persecuted, and tried to corrupt our faith by promoting their own philosophy and doctrine.

Our Apostles didn't stand firm because the scriptures were true. NO! They stand up because of the event that happened in front of them. And the event was that Christ was crucified, died, and rose from the dead. There were more than 3 eye witnesses when it happened.

The Apostles/Believers/Followers were the first eye witnesses, and that was a foundation for me to believe in Christianity. The only truth and nothing but the truth. St. Peter and St. Paul died for believing in the truth, preaching the truth, and getting persecuted for testifying the world about The Truth.

John 20:29Blessed is he that has not seen but believed.

Will we believe someone who was not there during the event? Are we easily persuaded to believe in any scripture out there and not believe in the first eye witness? Did the apostles spread lies?

There is absolutely no sane man out there willing to die for spreading lies. No power, money, or lust by doing so. There is clearly nothing to gain.

In the end, the Apostles got crucified, decapitated, murdered, tortured, and burned to death for testifying the truth. All in the name of believing and staying true to their beloved Brother and Teacher. That is Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Ask, Seek and Knock...
