Encountering the CHURCH OF GOD (A Korean Corrupt Faith-Cult) in Malaysia

Shalom to my brothers and sisters in Christ,

Upon deepening our faith, God has always revealed Himself by giving us certain tests to evaluate our belief in Him. Most of the time  pg on to prayers or making a devotion to our beloved Mother Mary by reciting a rosary prayer, things can be difficult or complicated. After what we have been through, we should never give up on keeping our faith dearly in our hearts. If Abraham passed God's test, we should not give up so easily, even though our tests are not as difficult as those given to Abraham.

I have been following a church discussion group about evangelisation for the past two months. As I have recalled, each time I am into something, especially "understanding my faith", I will encounter challenges such as defending my faith to non-believers or things that do not work out in my life that can shake my belief in God the Highest. So, as part of my spiritual journey in my 30's, the Holy Spirit once again tries to test my faith in God when I encounter a false teaching that is led by a Korean Christian cult-so-called Christian.

It all started when I planned to buy food at the hawker stall. The place where I stay is just next to Hawker Street. I can easily buy food in 3-5 minutes' walking distance if I feel tired of cooking. After I had bought my Kolo Mee and was on my way back home, suddenly there was a young man (his looks and appearance were more of a college student). His age could have been somewhere in between 18 and 23 years old. When I passed by, this young man asked me in Chinese dialect, and I politely said, "Sorry, I can’t speak Chinese." Then he suddenly asks about my faith, "Are you a Christian?" and I respond, "Yes, I am." I am a Christian. "

Young Man: "Do you mind if I share the gospel with you?"

Me: "Sure. What is it about? "

Young Man: "Let me ask again." Are you a Christian? "

Me: "I am a Christian." WHY? "

For those who are not from Malaysia and are reading my article, non-Muslims are PROHIBITED in Malaysia from discussing their faith with another Muslim. We are encouraged to convert to Islam, and Muslims are not allowed to leave Islam. There is no such thing as apostasy for Muslims as it is written in their scripture. The punishment is death (Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:89:271).

Young Man: "Opening his tablet with a full of presentation slides." "Do you know, or have you ever heard about God the Mother?

 Me: "Yes, Mother Mary."

Young Man: "No, not Mother Mary; she is a human, but God the Mother is equal to God the Father." "Please lend me 5 minutes of your time for me to explain it".

Me: I looked at him while still holding my Kolo Mee. I thought it might be interesting to hear what this young man has to say.

While he explains by using the scriptures, I constantly ask him to skip and be faster. But as usual, I know that he could not do that because he has been trained to follow each word or passage when sharing. In my mind, he is not a good preacher. Yes, I applaud him for being good in scripture because he can answer anything, or all questions given to him by you. He will immediately refer to any scripture passage on the spot. If your life is primarily based on the Bible, you may fall into a trap and be manipulated by this young preacher.

Me: "Who is your leader?"

Young Man: "Jesus is my leader."

Me: I asked again. "Who is your leader?"

Young Man: "I have shown based on the scripture. I adhere to the exact words of the Bible. Jesus is my leader. "

Me: "Please do not say Jesus is your leader again." I know you have been trained by someone, but now who is your leader?"

Young Man: "Everything that I say comes from Him, and I cannot say something not from the scripture." Even if I mentioned the name Nicholas or anyone else, you would not know them. So, Jesus is my leader.

Me: I purposely asked him 3 times how our Christ had been denied by St. Peter 3 times. This is to show that the young preacher is falsifying or to corrupt my head by indicating that our Christ acknowledges God the Mother throughout His ministry time on earth.

Based on their teaching and understanding, both Christianity and Judaism originally believed in God the Mother, but as time went by, up until the Nicaea Council Meeting in AD 325, Christianity abandoned the understanding of God the Mother and eventually formed what is called Christianity as we have it today.

Do not be surprised when they can provide so-called proof that God the Mother exists in Genesis, the Gospel, St. Paul’s letter, and the Book of Revelation. The young preacher always emphasised the Book of Revelation about Jerusalem Above, the Bride, and the Water of Life.

Young Man: "What do you understand about Jerusalem Above?"

Me: "It’s a place."

Young Man: "Jerusalem Above actually refers to God the Mother, as the scripture specifically wrote," Jerusalem Above" ('said'). No such place can be said. Only a living being can say.

Me: "Why do you like to interpret in this kind of way?"

Young Man: "I am not interpreting anything. The Bible says so. " Let me show you Proverbs 30:5-6, Deuteronomy 4:2, and Revelation 22:18-19.

Me: "My brother, your mind has been corrupted. You are interpreting the scriptures on your own and what you are saying and believing is untrue. "

[About interpreting our own way] As written in the scripture 2 Peter 1:20 and 2 Peter 3:16.

Humankind has always tried to understand the meaning of scriptures in their own way. The wisdom (referring to the young preacher and his cult) does not come from the Holy Spirit but from the false spirit. Not all spirits are true. We need to test the spirit to know their weakness, as mentioned in 1 John 4:1 and 2 Peter 2:1-3.

My conversation with the young man went from 5 minutes to 20 minutes and I strongly believe my true Holy Spirit was asking me to leave the scenery and go back home as the wolf was trying to sway the disciples of the Lord to the broken road. My heart started to suggest my Kolo Mee as it was getting cold. Then, before I left the conversation with the young preacher, I asked him one last question to test his faith. Throughout our conversation, he kept on referring to the scriptures and interpreting them according to his own/church understanding.

Me: “How many heavens are there?”

Young Man: “One.”

I immediately left the scene and advised him to read the Bible again. And the young preacher was showing me the thumbs up, indicating that he was correct and that whatever he believed, or I had said to him was incorrect. The way his ‘sinister’ smile with the thumbs up looks like he strongly believes he is on the right path and the Holy Spirit is with him by promoting that God is not alone but there is another God with Him. That is God the Mother.

Going back to my final conversation with the young preacher. If he always refers to the Bible and truly understands it, he should not say "ONE HEAVEN. “So, how many heavens are there? Find out on your own, as I know the Church of God cult society will try to do their own research to strengthen their doctrine as well.

Why am I calling them a cult? Because the Church of God—World Mission Society had their 2nd coming of Christ. They believe and hold on to their doctrine that the second coming appeared in 1962.

In 1964, Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Jesus, established the World Mission Society Church of God as the only church in the world that celebrates the Feasts of God. Through various Bible prophecies, you too can confirm the identity of Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Unfortunately, their Korean Christ has died since, and this proves that what they believe is false. The 2nd coming of Christ should not die. Are they suggesting that we will eventually have the 3rd coming of Christ? Nonsense. Whoever believes in such a doctrine should repent.

Another false teaching, this time taken from their own website:

God made it this way to show us that, even spiritually, we can only receive eternal life through God the Mother (Rev 4:11).

So, to test the spirit, now try to find the online scripture by searching for REV 4:11. Here is what I got:

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”

Revelation 4:11 NIV - “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to - Bible Gateway

Based on the scripture above, nothing to do with God the Mother in the last sentence. They are trying to manipulate our minds. A true Christian will understand the scripture better than the lost sheep they have been exploiting.

Christianity has been around for centuries, and we have always believed in God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the creed and will never change. We have the 12 apostles who went on their own way to other regions, and I have never seen anywhere else in any documentation that they believed in God the Mother and spread it to their own followers.

Prove me wrong if any of you can find God the Mother's followers/believers since AD 50.

If you can believe in the Korean Christ and any word fed to you by them, you can certainly believe in the one true church. And that is St. Peter, who built the Catholic Church, and Christ Himself gave him a key to build his foundation.

You have always known the truth that the Church of God does not give salvation and redemption. So, why are people still following their teaching? There are various reasons that can be concluded. It could be because of what is going on in their daily lives, such as being left alone, experiencing less love in their family, and so on.

Please come back to Christ. If you want to change and follow His teaching, go to any nearby Catholic parish for consultation. It's never too late.

“We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial
of one Being with the Father.

Through him all things were made.
